I see. It should be in the main folder, titled "majicks-dash". The .exe file is the file with an weird smiley face icon and a file type of application. The size should be 636 kb.
If you're inside the main folder ("majicks-dash"), then your setup should look something like this with the 3rd file from the bottom being the .exe file.
Played the game and I think that it was very enjoyable but the movement was bit inconsistent. I don't know if any of this is intended but dashing near a wall sometimes shoots you very high up or sometimes it can shoot you across entire level. I also think that it would be better if camera zoom stayed the same across all levels because in some levels i can barely see the player. Other than that music was nice, levels were good and I liked the graphics. The boss was also well designed. Keep working on this game and I'm sure it will be great

Interesting game! I really like the Vector style from older arcade games. I do wish the boss was a little more challenging though.
